1 Day: Arrival at Naples. Hotel accommodation. Dinner and overnight.
Bus-sightseeing tour through the city to get a first impression of the capital of the region of Campania. Immerse yourself in the vitality and joy of living, which is expressed mainly in the alleys of the old town. Already European artists and writers, during their visit of the city among the highlights of their Italy tour in the 18th century, have enthusiastically described all this. Their testimonies have hardly lost relevance. Then as now, remain medieval, Renaissance, Baroque and Rococo all together.


2. Day: Naples and National Museum
Discover Naples, a city rich in history, culture and art. Visit the Castel Nuovo, where most of the early kings resided, the Galeria Umberto I and the Piazza del Plebiscito. Walk along the beach at Via Caracciolo, where you can see the city's oldest castle, and Bernini's Fontana dell'Immacolatella. Walk around Santa Lucia, a fishing village turned in a residential area of Naples. In the afternoon, visit the National Museum. The building was used as a barracks and later as a University. Later the Bourbons made it a Museum, which today is one of the most important archaeological collections in Europe. All treasures that have been excavated in Pompeii and Herculaneum can be seen here. Return to the hotel.


3. Day: Hotel change
Time at your leisure. In the afternoon drive to Sorrento and change of the Hotel. Dinner and overnight.


4 Day: Capri
Full day excursion from the port of Sorrento with the ferry to Capri - the magic of this island has been sung by many. Visit the romantic corners of the island with a minibus, to reach the village of Capri, Anacapri. Visit the famous Villa San Michele, which was built in the early years of the 20th century by the Swedish writer Axel Munthe. From here you can walk to the Augustus gardens. Stroll through the small town of Anacapri, which lies on a plateau on the slopes of Monte Solaro. Go down to Capri and later ferry back to Sorrento. Return to the hotel.


5 Day: Pompeii and Vesuvius
Today in Pompeii we get a great testimony of the way of life in the ancient world. The once prosperous town was 63 ac as well as Naples, Ercolano and Nocera was destroyed by an earthquake. Pompeii was not yet rebuilt, as the eruption of Mount Vesuvius finally buried the city in the year 79 ac under its lava. To get an idea how the Roman city in the Empire looked at, give the ruins of various sizes and the idyllic landscape a first impression of it. In the Antiquarium, there are documents relating the city's history and everyday objects from that time. The cast of people and animals are in the exactly position in which they were surprised by the death, however, are much more impressive. After a visit to this famous archaeological site, we get close to the Vesuvius climb, one of the active volcanoes in Europe. The bus can go up to 1000 m, then by foot. From the crater rim, you have a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Naples. Originally, the Vesuvius had a submarine activity; at that time, only its peak and its slopes appeared out of the sea. Return to the hotel and dinner.


6 Day: Amalfi Coast
This is the most enchanting coast of Europe, between Positano, Ravello and Maiori until Vietri sul Mare. As a result of erosion the sloping steeply to the sea, the Coast has been interrupted in short terraces repeatedly by deep Valley that enclosed small enchanting beaches.
On the narrow coastal road, we made a panorama-stop in Positano, the jewel of the Amalfi coast, where often actors, directors and writers like to meet each other.
We continue towards Amalfi, through colourful spectacle of nature, nestled between the lush greenery of hill slopes and the deep blue of the sea and of the sky. We can admire the harmony between the architectural structures and the perfect landscape.
An example of this is the Arab Norman style and the St. Andreas Cathedral of Amalfi.
After a break, we reach Ravello and visit the beautiful Villa Rufolo, the Moorish cloister, the tower, the famous exotic garden, whose beauty inspired the German composer Wagner for his Parsifal. A second famous Villa in Ravello is the Villa Cimbrone, whose main attraction is the large park and the view of the Amalfi coast.
Late we learn how the world-famous Limoncello (lemon liqueur) is made and how it tastes. Return to the hotel.


7 Day: ancient temples in Paestum
On this day leads the journey South in the area of Cilento. In Paestum were found a large city in the 18th century under rampant vegetation, which was founded and colonised by the Romans by the Greeks. The three Greek temples are remarkably intact and the thick walls are the only ones who are still from the 5th century BC.
The Cilento area is also known for the excellent mozzarella cheese which is made here. The black water-buffalo graze in this area and provide the milk for this cheese which comes on the delicious Napolitan pizza.
The cheese can be taste of course. Return to the hotel. Farewell dinner in a typical restaurant in Sorrento.


8 Day: After breakfast, transfer to the airport Naples and return home.
